New book from Viv Albertine coming summer 2016

2014 was an incredible year for us here at Faber Social, not least due to the sensational success of Clothes Clothes Clothes, Music Music Music, Boys Boys Boys, the memoir of Viv Albertine, which was awarded both Rough Trade Book of the Year and Sunday Times Music Book of the Year.
We’re thrilled to announce that Faber has acquired UK Commonwealth rights in a new book by Viv. This new work of non fiction will be published in summer 2016.
Viv Albertine’s brilliant new book picks up where the memoir finished with Viv’s life today, and explores her thoughts on the subjects that have in many ways defined her life: art, fashion, sex, feminism, and the journey from youth into middle age.
Lee Brackstone, Creative Director of Faber Social and Viv’s editor says: ‘Publication of Clothes Music Boys was another milestone in the development of the Faber Social list and its success has created a landscape for Viv that she is keen to navigate in her own inimitably fearless fashion. This book is less memoir and more window on the world as Viv sees it today. Every fan of Clothes Music Boys is in for a treat.’
