Faber Social in association with The Quietus present KRAUTROCK

Celebrating the publication of Future Days: Krautrock and the Building of Modern Germany,
of which Simon Reynolds says ‘Future Days does not capture Krautrock so much as unleash it.
At long last, the definitive book on the ultimate music’, we present author David Stubbs in
conversation with Luke Turner (The Quietus).

Earlier in the evening, courtesy of our friends at Spoon Records, we will be screening some
live footage of the ultimate Krautrock band, CAN. The opportunity to see this on the big
screen through a club soundsystem is not to be missed.

To close out the night we welcome Krautrock Karaoke, a rotating cast of unannounced musicians
covering the Krautrock classics. Musicians who have performed previously as part of this ensemble
include Colin Newman (Wire), Tom Furse (The Horrors), Satomi Matsuzaki (Deerhoof) and
Panda (TOY).
